He is survived by: his wife Margie Wright Shelton; his son Elmer Shelton; his siblings, Nancy Shelton Adkins of Penhook, Virginia, Earl Shelton of Roanoke and Ronnie Craighead of Rocky Mount, Virginia; his mother-in-law Helen Price Wright; and his siblings-in-law, Teresa Newbill Wright (James), Gloria Wright Wade, Elenor Wright Robinson (Melvin) and Kenneth Wright of Rocky Mount, Virginia. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
