She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Allen and Vesta Gregory Tyree; and her husband Robert "Eddy" Patterson, Sr.. She is survived by: her sons, Robert E. Patterson, Jr. (Wendy) and Joseph A. Patterson; her brother Ronnie Tyree (Brenda); and her sister-in-law Evelyn Dowdy. She is also survived by five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
