She was predeceased by: her parents, Mark Shively and Lula Shively; her husband Edward Sauer Sr.; and her sons, Windell Sauer, Edward Sauer Jr. and Kelly Sauer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gertrude Taylor of Vinton, Donna Massey (Jerry) and Elizabeth Hall of Rocky Mount; and her grandchildren, Joshua Hall (Amy), Joseph Hall (Katie), Trish Williams (Danny), Brandy Taylor, Connie Brooks (Brian), Kristy Watson and Kelly Sauer, Jr.. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, three step-greatgrandchildren.
