He was predeceased by: his parents, Gracie Pearl McGhee and George Washington McGhee; his siblings, Christine Marie Brown, Allena Williams, Wallace McGhee and Curtis McGhee; and his daughter Michelle McGhee Walker.
He is survived by: his family, McArthur "Mack" McGhee and Lord; his close friends, Buddy Helm and Charlie Brumfield; his wife Mary McGhee; his children, Margaret Lucinda McGhee and McArthur Davy McGhee; and his brother Clarence McGhee (Beulah). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; numerous great-great grandchildren.
