She was predeceased by: her parents, George William Hodges and Dean Holland Hodges; her sister Sally Kate Hodges; and her nieces, Sally Dematrice James and Bonnie Young.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph K. Amos (Susan), Roger Dale Amos (Kim), Bobby Steven Atkins, Steven Atkins II, Autumn Sky Atkins and Serenity Joy Atkins. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
