It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Oubrey Wade Wright of Rocky Mount, Virginia, who passed away on May 21, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Walter Lee Wright and Annie Odell Price Wright; and his siblings, David James Wright, Edith Ann Craighead, Paul Andrew Wright and George Edgar Wright.
He is survived by: his sons, Aubrey Wayne Wright, Jamie Wright (Melanie), Anthony Wright (Casey) and Emanual Stovall; his siblings, Dorothy Donnelly (Richard), Richard Wright (Brenda), Daphne Tolliver (Jessie), Peggy Eggleston (Calvin) and Carol Tuning (Lucas); his grandchildren, Dominic, Brynlee, Kaeden, Aiden, Emma and Legend; and his friends, Kathleen Wright and Mike Hester.
