He was predeceased by: his parents, Laura McGhee Williams and Robert Williams; his daughter Laura Anne Williams; his siblings, Virginia Starkey (Homer), Girlie Morris (Ed), Vida Gray, Margaret Lovell (Lewis), Nora Thompson (Sylvester), Harry and Carroll Williams; and his sisters-in-law, Frances Dooley (Lenwood), Emily Lynch (Cecil), Martha Ann Divers (Ben) and Nancy Naff (Bob).
He is survived by: his wife Mary Hudson Williams; his sons, Raymond David Williams and James Patrick (Pat); his grandson Zane Patrick Williams; his sister-in-law Barbara Williams; Lorrie Meeks Williams. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Habitat for Humanity, Good Samaritan Hospice, or Franklin Heights Church.
