She was predeceased by: her parents, Posey Hall and Isabelle Hall; her parents-in-law, Tan and Ethel Scott; her sisters, Evelyn Arrington (Marvin) and Betty June Perdue (Darrell); and her brothers-in-law, Earl Scott, Jimmy Scott, Billy J. Scott, Emmett Scott, John B. Scott and David Wray.

She is survived by: her husband Luther Edwin Scott of Glade Hill, VA; her daughter Sharon Ferguson (David) of Glade Hill, VA; her grandchildren, Christy Ferguson (Johnny) of Roanoke, VA, Shaun Ferguson (Brooks) of Columbia, SC, Brandi Abner (Tim) of Rocky Mount, VA and Amanda Jennings (Tommy) of Boones Mill, VA; her sisters, Kathy Wray of Rocky Mount, VA and Carolyn Buchanan of Lakeland, FL; her siblings-in-law, Lena Padgett of Rocky Mount, VA and Frank Scott of Ferrum, VA; and her great grandchildren, Adyson Jennings, Braelyn Abner, Eliza Ferguson and David Ferguson. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews with countless friends.

Her contributions to the choir reflected her deep faith and her dedication to sharing her love of God through music.
