She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett Lewis Sigmon and Gracie Mae Shively Sigmon; and her siblings, Jimmy "Little Jimmy" Sigmon, Taylor Lee Sigmon and Theresa Sigmon Earles.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas Henry Lealond Wright; her children, Rita Wright Scott (Howard), Dianne Wright Brown (David McNeil), Barry Lealond Wright (Suzi), Bonnie Wright Davis (Steve) and Susan Gail Wright; her grandchildren, Christopher Scott (Crystal), Ethan Brown (Megan), Mason Wright (Alison), Sage Wright Haskins (Ned), Baruch Wright, Levi Wright (Nevaeh) and Selah Wright Tuck (Jase); her great grandchildren, Bryce Scott, Beckett Scott, Bentley Brown, Marley Brown, Clara Wright, Felix Wright, Jayden Tuck and Emorie Mae Wright; her siblings, Thomas Lewis Sigmon (Pat), Terry Leon Sigmon (Trish), Thurley Lucille Hall and Tilda Louise Sigmon; and her siblings-in-law, Cletus Earles, David Wright (Brenda), Sylvia Young, Judy Creasy, Ruby Harris (Tim), Betty Ayers (Samuel), Darlene Blankenship (Harry) and Jean Love. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount (665 S Main St, Rocky Mount, VA 24151). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Flora Funeral Chapel (665 S Main St, Rocky Mount, VA 24151).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Red Cross.
