Thomas Nix Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on October 7, 2022, at the age of 83, Thomas Nix of Rocky Mount, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Franklin Nix and Mae Lollis Nix; his sister Betty June Johnson; and his wife Frances Patterson Nix. He is survived by: his son Patrick T. Nix; his daughter-in-law Julie McBride Nix; his granddaughters, Zoe and Ella Nix; his brother Carl Nix (Cricket); his sister-in-law Evelyn Dowdy; and his niece Terri James (Dan). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Southern Virginia Child Advocacy Center or Trinity Episcopal Church Outreach Program.
