It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Valeria Powell (Rocky Mount, Virginia), who passed away on February 26, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Valeria may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Valeria touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Roscoe Powell; her mother Carrie Michaels; and her brothers, Hugh Luck Clements and Elrie Clements. She is survived by: her daughters, Sarah Powell (Jacob) and Melissa Werger (Ken); her grandsons, Jonathan and Nicholas Werger; and her stepgrandchildren, Neil Christian and Nisha Brunson (Stephen).
