She is survived by: her daughter Courtney Dagger (Thomas); her grandson Colin of Greensboro, NC; her parents, Bennie F. Carter and Irene Carter of Boones Mill, VA; her brother Mike Carter (Chris Anne); her nephew Blake Hanes Carter (Hilary) of Roanoke, VA; and her nieces, Jenni McClure (Danny), Abby, Evelyn, Lila and Parker of Radford, VA.
