He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Alexander and Elizabeth Bennett Alexander; and his sister Ann Lee Cook (Roderick Cook). He is survived by: his wife Sarah; his children, Nelson Alexander, William Davis Baker (Lyndsay) and Emily Andrew Oliver (Aaron Houchens); and his brother-in-law Richard A. Davis (Jennifer). He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 275 S Main St, Rocky Mount, VA 24151. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Trinity Episcopal Church (15 E Church St, Rocky Mount, VA 24151).
