She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie West and Nina Cole West; her husband William "Ess" Taylor; and her siblings, Brenda West, Anna Mae Smith, Louella Grizzle, Victoria Cooper, Fonda Gail West, Donald Ray West and Nicholas Wayne West.

She is survived by: her children, Kenny West (Danielle), John King Jr., Larry Taylor and Jan Price (Ernie); and her siblings, Carol Coomer, Annie Fleenor and Ernest Lee West (Donetta). She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
