He was predeceased by: his parents, Lars Leaf Sr. and Beverly Leaf (Burton); and his brothers, David E. Leaf Sr. and Gary L. Leaf. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Campbell Leaf; his children, J. W. John WIlburn Leaf (Candace Paige Leaf) of Harrogate and Abigaile Rose Leaf (Ryan Fee); his grandsons, John Wilburn Leaf II and Ronnie Michelle Leaf; his brothers, Lars Leaf Jr. (Vicki) and Mark Leaf (Donna); and his sisters-in-law, Janet Leaf and Tina Leaf. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, close relatives.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Holding Funeral Home of Rose Hill (6066 Dr Thomas Walker Rd, Rose Hill, VA 24281). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Holding Funeral Homes Chapel (6066 Dr Thomas Walker Rd, Rose Hill, VA 24281).
