It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Wayne Maggard of Round Hill, Virginia, who passed away on September 3, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Gary may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gary touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Maggard and Lovina Sturgill. He is survived by: his wife Susan Linden Bridge Maggard; his children, Denny Maggard, Eric Maggard, Josh Maggard and Amanda Maggard; and his sister Ervina Sturgill. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, one great-grandson.
