Cleta Maye Roberts Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cleta Maye Roberts of Rural Retreat, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 5, 2025 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Cleta Maye Roberts to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, E. Kermit Haga and Mabel Vaught Haga. She is survived by: her husband Scott Jennings Roberts; her sons, Dennis S. Roberts (Maria) of Lynchburg, VA and James W. Roberts (Rebecca) of Roanoke, VA; her brother Harold Dean Haga of Daleville, VA; her grandchildren, Jessica, Andrew, Gretchen, Sena, John Scott and Rachel; and her great grandchildren, Emmaline, Deacon and Winnie. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephew.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Grace Lutheran Church (514 S Main St, Rural Retreat, VA 24368).
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Grace Lutheran Church (514 S. Main St, Rural Retreat, VA 24368) or the Friends of the Rural Retreat Library (P.O. Box 103, Rural Retreat, VA 24368).
