He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Lee Tyler and Blanche Leftwich Tyler; his brothers, Maurice Tyler and Harry Tyler; and his sister-in-law Joyce Tyler.
He is survived by: his wife Nadeen Wells Hodnett Tyler; his daughters, Wanda T. Grachan (Bill) and Kim T. Bell (Eric); his grandchildren, Tyler Grachan (Kelsey), Kathryn Spencer (Grant), Garrett Bell and Ethan Bell; his great grandchildren, Navy Grachan, Luke Grachan and Meredith Spencer; his stepchildren, Ricky A. Hodnett (Angie) and Janet H. Smith (Phil); his stepgrandchildren, Yancy Moran (Missy) and Carly Robinson (Drake); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Neela Robinson and Rory Robinson; and his sister-in-law Nancy Tyler.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Colbert-Moran Chapel (307 Main St, Gretna, VA 24557).
