He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey Campbell and Georgie Mays Campbell; and his siblings, Lawrence Campbell, Cordell Campbell, Kinkle Campbell, Odessa Mays, June Campbell, Louise Thomas and Nancy Campbell.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Stump Campbell; his children, Tim Campbell, Sharon Burns (Donald), Douglas M. Campbell, Jr. (Elizabeth), Dawn Ethridge and Donna Pimm; and his brother Delwoody Campbell. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
