She was predeceased by: her spouse Dallas Burks; and her parents, Luther Ferguson and Ola Ferguson. She is survived by: her children, Danny Burks, Timmy Burks and Cindy Burks; her grandchildren, Jenni, Cammie, Dallas, Paige and Madison; and her siblings, Gary Ferguson and Doris Kinsler. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Fort Hill Memorial Park Chapel (5196 Fort Ave, Lynchburg, VA 24502).
