We are sad to announce that on April 29, 2025, at the age of 84, Mary Elizabeth Hise of Rustburg, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Mary Elizabeth may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Gay and Ruth Gay; and her daughter-in-law Amy Hise. She is survived by: her husband Jim Hise; her children, Frank Davis, Bruce Goldsmith, Leslie Hise and Sharon Hise; and her close friend Mary Loyd. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
