She is survived by: her children, Darice Smithers, Shinean Shelton (Lornell) and Alfred Spurlock III; her grandchildren, Jerome Bynum (Sherod), LaNyah Shelton, Ayden Spurlock and Lornell Shelton III (Tre); and her sister Connie Cauthorne. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
