It is with sadness that the passing of James Benedict Peacemaker Sr. of Ruther Glen, Virginia is shared. James Benedict, born on January 24, 1946, passed away on September 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Peacemaker and Joanne Peacemaker. He is survived by: his wife Diane Peacemaker; his children, Jesse G. Peacemaker (Aimee), James B. Peacemaker Jr. (Bettina) and Jodi Peacemaker Ally (Shaun); his grandchildren, Newton, Eden Peacemaker and Isaac Ally; and his niece Anna Rothgeb.
A reception will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bowling Green. A committal service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 2:30 PM at the National Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Caroline County Fire and Rescue Station 10, 23586 Carmel Church Loop, Ruther Glen, VA 22546.
