Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Jamie Allgood of Ruther Glen, Virginia, who passed away at the age of 38, on September 15, 2025. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Charles Wilfred, Jean Elizabeth Smith, Robert Sargent and Urma Byrle Barton. She is survived by: her husband Ottie Allgood Jr.; her children, Briahna, Judah and Oliver Allgood; her parents, Bruce Barton and Elaine Barton; and her siblings, Jayson Barton (Olivia), Joshiah Barton (Heather), Alicia Barton and Andrew Vernon Barton. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Alturia Farm (6101 Dabneys Mill Rd, Manquin, VA 23106). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mechanicsville High School (7052 Mechanicsville Tpke, Mechanicsville, VA 23111).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.

She was incredibly caring, patient, and genuinely took the best care of me and my kids during this time. She has left her mark on this planet, and for so many of us she protected and fought for, we will never forget, for she has a special place in our hearts and always will. My deepest, deepest condolences.”
