With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Judy Mays of Saint Paul, Virginia, who passed away on October 14, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Shoemaker and Eliza "Dude" Castle Shoemaker; her husband Hobart Mays, Jr.; her son Buford Patrick, Jr.; her brother Ernie Shoemaker; and her grandson Thomas Patrick.
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Patrick (David), Mike Patrick (Rose), Steve Patrick (Vickie) and Chad Patrick (Becky); and her grandchildren, Ashley Patrick, Aaron Patrick, Michael Patrick, Jr., Damien Patrick, Noah Patrick, David Cole, Amanda Holman, Allison Patrick, Alexis Patrick and Michelle Patrick. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, and two nephews.
