Sammy S. Glovier Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Glovier and Daisy Glovier; his parents-in-law, Bob and Mary Shomaker; and his sister Nancy Lee.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Glovier (Shomaker); his daughters, Dawn (Jorge Figueiras), Virginia, Martha (Allen Combs) and Amanda (Ronnie Wyrick); his grandchildren, Brantley Wyrick, Marcus, DJ Combs, Nathan, Brianna Combs, Alayna Combs (Josh Harris) and Lexie Combs; his great grandchildren, Chase, Cydnee Robinette, Rhett, Sadie Combs, Emberlyn and Addilyn Combs; his brother Jerry; his sister-in-law Phyllis Glovier; and his sister Brenda Austin. He is also survived by his church family at Cleveland Methodist Church and his brother Masons.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Castlewood Funeral Home (80 Donnie Dean Dr, Castlewood, VA 24224). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
