Arlene Carter Hartberger Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arlene Carter Hartberger (Salem, Virginia), who passed away on November 13, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Arlene may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Arlene touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Carter and Emma Carter. She is survived by: her children, David Hartberger (Kelly), Dale Hartberger (Donna), Donna Rucker (R. G.) and Debbie Carter (Mike). She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lotz Funeral Home (1330 E Main St, Salem, VA 24153). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lotz Salem Chapel (1330 E Main St, Salem, VA 24153).
