He is survived by: his daughter Amy; his son-in-law Kelly Montgomery of Galax; his son David; his daughter-in-law Amber Gordon of Roanoke; his sister Pam; his brother-in-law Allen Asbury of Abbs Valley; his half-sister Brenda Haase of Rainelle, WV; his stepdaughter Carrie (Justin Cox) of Salem; his grandchildren, Emily and Derek Gordon; and his stepgrandchildren, Kayley, Karlie Montgomery, Tristan, Shannon Cox and Gabe Ward. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
