She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Cameron "JC" Whitlock, Jr.; her parents, Elsie Goad and Thelma Goad; her daughter Crystal "Cristy" Shaun Duncan Nation; her siblings, Paul Dean Goad, Jesse Lee Goad and Mary Ann Sigmon; and her granddaughter Shauna Michelle Wheeling.
She is survived by: her children, Yvette Leigh Duncan, Cynthia Marie Whitlock Litchtenstein and Joseph Andrew Whitlock (Bekah); her grandchildren, Joshua Nathan Wheeling, Tyler Conner, Reese Cameron Whitlock, Emma Ruth Lichtenstein and Joseph Michael Whitlock; and her sisters, Myrtle Jean Clark and Ruby Ellen Ratcliff.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lotz Funeral Home (1330 E Main St, Salem, VA 24153). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cedar Lawn Cemetery (5070 Cove Rd, Roanoke, VA 24017).
