She was predeceased by: her parents, William Mabry and Bonnie Mabry; and her son Kenneth "BooBoo" Carter. She is survived by: her close friend Darrell L. Thompson; her daughter Kayla Asbury; her granddaughter Brianna "BreBre" Carter; and her siblings, Robert Altice and Rhonda Carter. She is also survived by her family, especially her long-time partner whom she considered her spouse, her children and special granddaughter.
