She was predeceased by : her husband Edward T. Pruitt; her granddaughter Cassandra Howell; and her parents, Jessie Minnix and Allie Minnix. She is survived by : her children, William Pruitt (Carrie), Brenda Hawks (Doug), Nathan Pruitt, Angela Estill (Alan), Matthew Pruitt (Josie), Kimberley Walls and Jimmy Dean; her grandchildren, Cristina Eberstein, Andrew Pruitt, Jonathan Pruitt, Kelly Combs, Brian Hawks, Brittany Combs, Zack Wray, Chelsea Wray, Robert Hawks, Allen Pruitt, Zeth Robertson, Alex Pruitt and Sophia Pruitt; her great grandchild Erica Dickson; and her son Keyan Bailey.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lotz Funeral Home (1330 E Main St, Salem, VA 24153). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Lotz Funeral Home - Salem (1330 E Main St, Salem, VA 24153).
