He was predeceased by: his father James Roby; and his siblings, Mae Horton and Eddie Walker Lefler. He is survived by: his wife Guida Rea Tickle Lefler; his daughter Sabrina Lee (Teddy); his grandson Chess Matthew Lee (Carly); his great grandchildren, Wilder Chess Lee and Lilyan Nora Lee; and his nieces, Brenda Watson, Shirley Bazdar and Christine Duran. He is also survived by other extended family members and friends.

“I began attending the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul over a year ago. It's at this amazing, loving church that I got to meet Charlie, his wonderful wife Guida & daughter Sabrina. What a beautiful family and one that was fully engaged with Jesus Christ and our Father God. I suspect Charlie was a real character in his younger years and his love for his church was so evident. He will be sadly missed in our congregation, but Charlie now has victory!!! Bless the Lefler family Steve Stutsman”
