It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chris Nuckols Jr. of Salem, Virginia, born in Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on April 19, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hodgdon Christian Nuckols and Mary Louise James Nuckols; and his former wife Mary Whitaker Nuckols (Dede). He is survived by: his children, Angela Marie Nuckols Lamkin (Doug) of Charlotte, NC and Michel Christian Nuckols (Molly) of Midlothian, VA; his grandchildren, Jack Nuckols, Matthew Nuckols, Maggie Nuckols and Katie Lamkin; his stepson Michael Bell (Gloria); and his stepgrandchildren, Nina and Koda of Tokyo, Japan..
