She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Maxey; her parents, Robert Bowles and Sallie Bowles; and her siblings, Russell Bowles, Raymond Bowles, Rachel Wright and Kathleen Hawley.
She is survived by: her daughter Ann-Elyse; her son-in-law Chris Blomberg; her grandsons, Aaron Blomberg (Stefanie) and Adam Blomberg (Terri); her great grandchildren, Finn Blomberg and Chloe Blomberg; and her sister Elizabeth Feazell. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Sherwood Memorial Park (1250 E Main St, Salem, VA 24153).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Backpack Ministry at Craig Valley Baptist Church.
