It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clara Ferguson of Salem, Virginia, who passed away on May 22, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerdon Poff and Beulah Poff. She is survived by: her husband Roscoe Ferguson; her children, Ralph Edgar Short, Sharon Lee Young and Sara Jo Leech; her siblings, Edgar Poff, Earlene Smith, Evelyn Hicks, Betty Marshall, Connie Moore and Rachel Butterworth; and her children, Louise Reedy (Kenny), Ellen Cordle (John), Diane Benson (Bill), Dennis Wise (Rhonda), Danny Wise and Donnie Wise. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; 39 great-great grandchildren.
