He was predeceased by: his parents, Timothy Francis and Joan Ann Maloney; his grandparents, Timothy Aloysius and Marguerite Maloney; his son Daniel Patrick Maloney; his niece Meghan Ann Maloney; and his brother-in-law Andrew Kiewra.
He is survived by: his children, Kate Maloney, Sean Maloney, Brendan Maloney and Terrance Maloney; his siblings, Timothy Maloney, James Maloney (Donna), Katherine Kiewra and Hugh Maloney (April); and his aunt Jeanne Gorman. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home (305 Roanoke Blvd, Salem, VA 24153). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church (314 Turner Rd, Salem, VA 24153). A burial will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Saint Andrew Diocesan Cemetery (3601 Salem Turnpike NW, Roanoke, VA 24017).
