She was predeceased by: her father Donald Simmons; her grandparents, Hobart, Geneva Patterson, Abraham and Stella Simmons; her stepfather James Reynolds; and her sister Darlene Wimberley.
She is survived by: her mother Phyllis Reynolds; her husband Jim Stepp; her children, Samantha Stepp and Alexander Stepp; her grandchildren, Aiden Stepp and Scarlett Stepp; her daughter-in-law Jasmine Stepp; and her stepmother Robin Simmons. She is also survived by cousins, friends, and neighbors.
