It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy Marie Jeffreys VanValkenburg of Salem, Virginia, born in Johnson City, New York, who passed away on December 24, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond F. VanValkenburg; her parents, George A. Jeffreys and Isabel Bearss Jeffreys; and her brothers, Donald, Harold and Keith Jeffreys.
She is survived by: her children, Sherry Reynolds (Stephen), Donna Crotts (Howard) and Robin Eller (Stephen); her brother Robert D. Jeffreys (Pat); her grandchildren, John Reynolds, David Reynolds, Paul Eller and Keri Landry; and her sister-in-law Gayle Jeffreys. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, and nephews.
