He is survived by: his sister-in-law Shirley Thomas; and his sisters, Lee McClain and Addie Hewitt. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and an extended family.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the New Hope Christian Church (4229 Welcome Valley Rd SE, Roanoke, VA 24014).
