He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Roberson Apgar and Hazel Shelor Apgar; and his brothers, Donald David Apgar and Robert Michael Apgar. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Hall Apgar; his daughter Elizabeth A.; his son-in-law Todd L. Peters of Salem; his grandchildren, Lauren E. Peters of Richmond and Thomas W. Peters of Salem; his sister Ruth Irene Glock of Ellicott City, MD; and his sister-in-law Mildred Mills Apgar (Charlotte Richardson Apgar) of Lafayette. He is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.
