Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Gayle DeHaven of Salem, Virginia, born in Roanoke, Virginia, who passed away at the age of 82, on November 26, 2022. She was predeceased by: her parents, Morton H. Poindexter Sr. and Dora Ethel Fielder; and her husband Clarence A. DeHaven. She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Richardson, Risden of Roanoke, VA, Matt DeHaven of Salem, VA, Tina Mountcastle and Scott of Salem, VA; her brothers, Bill of Roanoke, VA and Jimmy Poindexter of Roanoke, VA; and her great grandchild Austin Richardson of Salem, VA.. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
