She was predeceased by: her mother Stella Artrip Burkes; her husband Dr. Robert "Bob" McClanahan, Jr.; and her sister Willie Ann Burkes Hughes. She is survived by: her children, Beth Ledwith (Kevin), Robert McClanahan, III and Meg Robertson; her grandchildren, Andrew, Brian (Jess), Casey, Sarah, Will, Michael (Lindsey), Alex and Isaac; and her great grandchildren, Nora and Harper Ledwith.
