He is survived by: his fiancée Lisa Rumburg; his sons, Michael Wayne Obenchain (Angie), Gregory Dale Obenchain II, John Wayne Obenchain (Cierra), Jasper Ray Obenchain, Clinton Horace Jack Obenchain and Curtis Womack; his grandchildren, Aiyana Obenchain, Gregory Rylan Obenchain and Lila Sage Obenchain; and his sisters, Teresa Lucado (Bruce) and Karen Woolwine (Chuck). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home & Crematory (305 Roanoke Blvd, Salem, VA 24153). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel (305 Roanoke Blvd, Salem, VA 24153). A burial was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Cedar Lawn Memorial Park (5070 Cove Rd, Roanoke, VA 24017).
