He was predeceased by: his brother Odell; and his parents, Henry Weeks and Ella Markham Weeks. He is survived by: his wife Ella Mae Shelburne Weeks; his legged girl Queen; his sister-in-law Nancy Weeks; his niece Donna (Jerry); his great-niece Trisha (Erick); his great-nephew Jason; his sister-in-law Nancy Shelburne; his niece Kathy (Roger); and his great-nephew Ryland.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Angels of Assisi, 415 Campbell Avenue SW, Roanoke, VA 24016 or to the local SPCA, 1340 Baldwin Avenue NE, Roanoke, VA 24012.
