“Ida Wells Family + Friends......Jamie (Steep) Carras here sending you my heartfelt condolences. Aunt Ida (oldest sister of my Mother--Beatrice (Hughes) Steep, deceased--was fondly thought of throughout my childhood & all through my adulthood too. She was loved by many all over the world since she was blessed as a letter writer. Sadly, I did not learn that gift. I did appreciate her cards on my birthday for many many years including a short spiritual note. Cousin Gwen, you're in my tho'ts today!”
