Ira Deyerle Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on June 17, 2019 we had to say goodbye to Ira Deyerle (Salem, Virginia), born in Roanoke, Virginia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Elmer, Sr. and Eva Jeanette Rutherford Deyerle; his wife Judy Marie Coggins Deyerle; his daughter Eva Marie Deyerle; and his siblings, Walter Elmer Deyerle, Jr., Joyce Matchette, Faye Sechrist and June Thomas Fisher.

He is survived by: his son Russell Deyerle (Stacy); his granddaughter Emily Nicole Deyerle of Henrico; his sisters, LaVerne Deyerle of Salem, Sherrye May of Abingdon and Patricia Turner of Lynchburg; his close friend Linda Koogler of Raphine; and his daughter Mary Duffy of Earlysville. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations can be made to Dr. Ryan Gentzler's research at the Emily Couric Clinical Cancer Center at UVA and mailed to UVA Health Foundation, PO Box 800773, Charlottesville, VA 22908.
