It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Arnold in Salem, Virginia, born in Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on January 5, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Frederick Arnold and Violet Arnold; and his brother Joseph Wilson Arnold. He is survived by : his wife Mary Coleman Arnold; his children, David Arnold (Natalie) and Frances Arnold Wymbs (Brian); his brother John Howard Arnold (Margaret); his grandchildren, Mary Lucy Wymbs and Patrick Hudson Wymbs; and his niece Susan "Sue" Arnold. He is also survived by his family and friends.
