He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Edward and Catherine Coburn Harvey; his brother Edward Wayne Harvey; and the mother of his children Sandra Whitley. He is survived by: his wife Linda Shutters Harvey; his children, James Allen Harvey, Jr., William Bryan Harvey (Karen), Lisa S. Barnett (Chip) and Debi McClintock (Bill); his sister Karen Santolla (Curtis); his sister-in-law Dorothy Hepler Harvey; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Blankenship (Toph), James Harvey III (Desirea), Taylor Harvey, Jake Barnett (Sami), Casey Butt, Micaela Harvey, Lucas Butt, Tyler Harvey and Tucker Harvey; his great grandchildren, Hallie Blankenship, Ryan Blankenship and Ben Blankenship; and his pet Firefly. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
