He was predeceased by: his wife Brenda Custer; his parents, Guy Custer and Ida Mae Custer; and his daughters, Cindy Custer Hutchison and Janet Custer Scott.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Custer, Jonathan Custer, Tommy Crotts (Lisa) and Renee Deck (Jeff); his grandchildren, Eric Blankenship (Chelsea), Melissa May, Channing Smith, Justin Deck (Samantha), Zachary Deck, Lori Howe (Emerson) and Anthony Crotts (Shelby); his great grandchildren, Kylie, Makenzie Blankenship, Landon, Laikan May, Brody, Garrett, Carter Deck, Juniper, Henry, Authur Howe, Addison and Gavin Crotts; and his close friend Ruby Lucas.
