He was predeceased by: his father James Smith, Sr.; his stepmother Sue Smith; and his brother Charlie. He is survived by: his mother Judy Christenson; his wife Joan Smith; his children, Joey, Alicia, Amanda, Josh (Liz), Kameron, Courtney (Matt), Brooke (Tyler) and Chelsea; his grandchildren, Zander, Marley and Grayson; his brother Robbie (Kari); his nieces and nephews, Haelan, McKinley and Trever; his sister Kaye; his niece Shana; his nephew Tyler; and his pets, Noodle, Auggie and Potter. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
